I want to share two quick but important updates regarding our WHPA website.
First, we have added a new link on the website to streamline Expense Reimbursements. This applies to Troop Representatives attending our meetings, as well as anyone with approved expenses incurred on behalf of WHPA business. To submit a claim, simply log onto the WHPA site, hover over “ACCOUNT” in the upper right corner, and click on “Expense Reimbursement” from the drop-down menu. From there, you will be able to itemize your expenses and upload your receipts directly.
Second, I am asking all members to please log in to their WHPA accounts to update their beneficiary information. Go to the same “ACCOUNT” button in the upper right corner, click on “Assign Beneficiaries,” and complete the required fields. As a reminder, the WHPA provides complimentary life insurance to all members ($20,000 for sworn members and $10,000 for civilian members). Having this information completed is absolutely crucial to ensuring funds can be delivered to your family without delay in the event of a tragedy.
