Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share some great news: our hard work has paid off! Thanks to the collective push from all of you, the Governor’s budget proposal for our compensation adjustment has successfully moved forward. This is a great win that brings us much closer to that 2024 Market Pay Policy (MPP) we’ve been working toward.
While we are celebrating this milestone, we realize there is still more work to be done for our members. This isn’t the end of the road, but we can absolutely count this campaign as a major win for our association and all of the employees of the state of Wyoming.
We want to send a sincere thank you to every one of you who stepped up during this campaign. Whether you were sending out emails, making those tough phone calls, or just spreading the word, your efforts made the difference. By staying on top of the facts and figures, you made sure our state legislators weren’t caught off guard and really understood the reality of what we do every day.
What makes this even more impressive is that you did all of this while continuing to provide top-tier service to the people of Wyoming. Even during these trying times, your professionalism never wavered. It’s that dedication to the citizens and to each other that makes the Wyoming Highway Patrol what it is.
Because you spoke up, we’re now in a better spot to keep our veteran experts and bring in the next generation of Troopers, Dispatchers, and Port of Entry pros.
