It is with profound sadness that the Wyoming Highway Patrol Association shares the passing of retired Trooper John Bloomfield, who passed away peacefully at his home in Smoot at the age of 75.
Trooper Bloomfield proudly and faithfully served the citizens of Wyoming for 27 years, dedicating his career to the Wyoming Highway Patrol from May 1975 through his retirement in February 2002. His decades of steadfast service and commitment to our agency and the state leave a lasting legacy.
In honoring his express wishes, no public memorial services will be held, and no official obituary will be published.
On behalf of the entire WHPA membership, we extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to John’s family, friends, and loved ones. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time.
With deepest respect,
Matt Arnell
President, Wyoming Highway Patrol Association
